New Patient Forms
Prior to the appointment, you will be sent a text message, or an email, with a link to complete your new patient forms. Please be sure to complete your new patient forms prior to your appointment so our administrative team can verify your insurance coverage prior to your appointment.
Your First Visit
Your oral health is very important to us and we want to make sure all your concerns and questions are answered. Your first visit will be very detailed and consist of a comprehensive exam, updating x-rays, oral cancer screening, checking the health of your gums, and charting any pre-existing restorations you may have. After your comprehensive exam appointment with Dr. McKinney, you will be scheduled for a dental hygiene assessment appointment with one of our highly skilled dental hygienists.
Insurance and Billing
McKinney Dental is a fee-for-service office. Your insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company. We encourage you to verify your benefits and provider status with your insurance. Our administrative team will provide you with a courtesy estimate of benefits for recommended dental treatment, but it is not a guarantee of benefits. Full benefits will be determined by your insurance when the claim has been submitted and processed according to your plan benefits. McKinney Dental will not be liable for any services not covered by your insurance. We accept and file to all insurance companies. Dr. Dan McKinney is a preferred provider for Delta Dental Premier, Ameritas, and Humana.
We accept all major credit cards such as Visa, Master, Discover and American Express. We are pleased to partner with Care Credit for third party financing.
